One of the services we offer our members is arranging On Site Assessment for those operatives/installers who have at least 2-years experience. On achievement, together with passing the HSE touch-screen test, a blue CSCS card can then be obtained.
The procedure is straight forward and does not involve attending College or a Training Provider. Assessment is completed on site and also, profiling takes place, often by ‘phone (checking knowledge & gathering evidence in the chosen roofing discipline)
In order to renew a blue card with CSCS, a qualification is now required, and On Site Assessment & Training is one of the ways to obtain this. Evidence of passing the HSE touch-screen test is also required.
For those registered with CITB and eligible for grant, £600 can be claimed as a short-term achievement grant on completion.
