Employers who are registered with CITB & eligible for grant can apply for four different types of grant to support their training
1 Employer Networks – If an employer wishes, they can join Employer Networks, now available in the North West/North Wales. In this case, CITB will fund 70% of the training cost with the employer paying 30%. There is no need to apply for grant & CITB has a Booking Team who can source and book training on behalf of the employer
2 Skills & Training fund – it is possible to obtain up to £10,000 for training, and more if a company has between 100 & 250 employees. 2 applications in a year are permitted. Employers need to plan ahead when applying
3 CITB achievement grants – payable on achieving certain qualifications such as NVQ’s
4 The traditional method where applications are made for grant following completion of training
